Game Recap

Placer JV 20, Bear River 0
By: Ike Dodson of the Auburn Journal

The Hillmen improved to 9-0 on the season after a shutout performance in the mud.

It wasn’€™t Placer’€™s best offensive performance, but the team got the job done.

“Our biggest issue today was the snap,”€ Placer coach Dean Pietromonaco said. “€”Our kids are very confident, but we have been starting games a little flat.”€

Placer graciously kneeled to end the game, despite possession at Bear River’€™s two-yard line with a minute and a half to play.

Ryan Arnel scored the first touchdown while Trey Curtis added two more to seal the win.
