The participants in the 2016-17  Kendall Arnett are showing their strength in the playoffs. Four of the eight teams in this years Kendall Arnett tournament have advanced to the CIF State Playoffs and 3 of them are still playing into the second round.

The Hillmen, who won the Kendall Championship,  are an #8 seed in the Div III state tournament, defeated Analy 73-52 and will play at the #1 seed St. Ignatius of SF on Saturday at 7:30.

Del Oro, who lost in the championship to Placer, is the #13 seed in the State Div II playoffs and defeated #4 seed Bishop O’Dowd 62-55. The Eagles will play at San Joaquin Memorial out of Fresno on Saturday at 7:30.

Rio Americano, who finished 3rd in the Kendall, qualified as a #16 seed in the Div III playoffs and gave #1 seed St. Ignatius all they could handle in their first round game and lost 50-41.

Foothill (Palo-Cedro) won the consolation bracket at the Kendall, won the North Section Champiosnhip and made it to the state tourney as a #12 seed.  The Cougars defeated #5 seed Manteca 73-68 to advance to play Mission at 6PM on Saturday.

Excellent Kendall field and hopefully they can keep it going past Saturday.
